Ian Richards A Judge Who Brings Justice On And Off The Bench
Judge Ian Richards was hearing a case when the defendant decided to shut a woman witness mouth with his fist. Judge Ian Richards, a Broward Circuit CourtJudge, in Ft. Lauderdale Florida jumped over the bench to the defense of the woman. It’s all caught on tape.
It appeared the defendant was being handcuffed when he somehow got away and went after the female witness. As other people in the court room ran, Judge Ian Richards jumped over the bench pulling the male defendant off of the female witness. Wow a Judge who brings justice on and off the bench.
Back in 2008, Judge Richardswas very unpopular for unseating Judge Catalina Avalos. His reply was “Get over it”. At age 33, Judge Richardsis clearly a protector and Broward county should be happy he is a Judge in they community.
